Dear Friends and Family,
I know it has been a while since you have last heard from me in regards to missions, and perhaps we have not been in touch at all for a while. I hope that you are well and are enjoying this beautiful summer.
The Lord has been so gracious to me in this past year, sparing my life back in October after a 34’ fall, and allowing me a full recovery back to health by this summer. I am so excited to continue in His purposes for my life.
You may remember I have been involved in working on a feature length documentary film with a group of young people from Youth With A Mission(YWAM) throughout 2009 and 2010. I know your prayer and support of this mission has contributed to our success already. That is why I again want to entreat you to take part in this move of God in the area of human trafficking in the United States.
Now completed, it is time for the film to serve its purpose. Our group will be taking the film to all 50 states. We will be reaching a diverse audience by screening the film twice in every state, once for a public university and once for a large church event. Already the film has screened at UC Davis in Sacrament, CA; University of Washington in Seattle, WA; Vancouver, BC; Homer, Alaska; and at the YWAM base in Kona, Hawaii and has received positive feedback and amazing responses from the audiences.
These events will not only raise awareness of the issue of domestic human trafficking, but also begin to engage people in their local area. At each event, we will have representatives of local organizations available to connect with the audience members.
I will be a part of a team of 16 others taking the film to 48 states to host these screenings. I will be responsible for helping to coordinate, set up, and host events, as well as interacting with the audience after each event. I will also be taking photographs and video that will contribute to our updates from the road.
On July 27th our team will assemble in Williamsburg, VA to begin this tour which will last until December 17th. I am responsible to raise $2,500 for gas, food, housing etc. as well as needing $500 to cover personal expenses. Please consider partnering with me in this way. If 30 people are able to give $100 my needs will be met. Even if you are unable to give financially, I ask that you give what you can, in covering my team and I in prayer. We will be stepping out onto a major stronghold of the enemy, and this will not go unnoticed. Pray for our spiritual well-being against attacks as well as our safety in travel, and finally pray that the Lord will be released at these screenings to minister to those who desperately need His touch.

We are glad to hear that you are well and able to resume this project. It seems that what you are doing is very timely. We have heard much more about the problem in the national media since you began however many years ago. We will be praying for you and for your ministry.
